Brazilian
beauty Gisele has always a fun girl to be around, very cool.
This is from an early shoot done of her shortly after she'd arrived
in New York. She would soon become the supermodel simply
known by her first name. Shot in the daylight New York
studio of photo-group.

Gisele
became the first Brazilian fashion model to make it big in all the
areas of modeling. Not only did she become a favorite on the
runway, working for the most prestigious haute couture and ready
to wear designers in the world, names such as YSL, Chanel, Versace,
Calvin Klein, etc, she became a cover girl of the famous photographers
and top international magazines including VOGUE, HARPER'S BAZAAR,
COSMOPOLITAN. Gisele is the leading female model featured
in major fashion advertising. During the past few years she
consistently has more campaigns going at one time than any other
model. She is also famous for her sexy swimsuit and lingerie
figure, including her commercials and pics as a Victoria Secret
model.
As
a reaction to, or result of Gisele's success, the modeling world
has seen an onslaught of young female models from Brazil, arriving
in the major modeling capitals of the world, hoping to become the
next great success. Quite a few of them have done extremely
well within the fashion business, although most have not become
known by name outside of the industry or their home country.
One of those other top successful Brazilian girls, who arrived on
the modeling scene at the same time as Gisele, is the lovely Fernanda
Tavares.
