I
arrived in Paris on September 1,1982. I began shooting for
W's Paris Bureau that same week. On Sept.10th, Fairchild's
Paris Bureau Cheif Patrick McCarthy and I flew to Milan for the
day, to shoot this Versace outfit which was my first W cover.
This
section of the website — Paris archives, actually includes
material produced throughout my Paris sojourn, which lasted 5 and
a third years. I initially intended to go to Paris for a few
months, but wound up liking it, getting work and staying.
Although it is named "Paris archives," work produced in
London and Milan, where I would frequently be flown by certain clients,
is contained here.
