This was one of Fernanda's very early shoots upon her arrival in New York.  She would soon become one of the top girls in the business.  You know her from not only the pages of Vogue  but also from Sports Illustrated's Annual Swimsuit Issue, and of course as one of Victoria's Secret's super models.  Alphonse did make-up here, and Matthew Williams did her hair.  "Fernanda and Gisele arrived on the scene in New York at about the same time, and it was obvious to me that these two girls would have a straight shot to the top."
