"Alice Dodd decided to add some spice to her career by dying her hair a very bright reddish orange", relates Landis. "It did create a lot of buzz around this already great girl. She wound up doing all the top shows in Paris that season, including Chanel and she had a lot of fun too. She's a pleasure to work with. Alice used one or more of the photos from this series on her comp card that season, and I still love the images years later.  Alice went on to be one of  a few Sports Illustrated Swimsuit models that continue to do high fashion.  Alice possesses a swimsuit models body.  She is lean but has curves.  Alphonse did the beautiful make-up and Matthew Williams effortlessly styled her hair".
