From
cover shoot of Valentina for lingerie trade
publication BFIA's December 1995 issue,Steve
Landis and art director Greg Timpone decided to create a winter
effect in the studio, using the very low tech approach of plastic
snow thrown by hand, from a ladder between the camera and the
Italian model, Valentina from Elite, New York. Mathew Williams
created the hair style and Alphonse did the make-up. Landis used
a Nikon F3 with a 35mm f1.4 wide angle Nikkor lens. He lit the
photo for a wrap around white effect, with assorted strobes and
shot EPR-64 (E-6 processed at L&I Color, NYC) film.
